Von Thun is known for its exciting Fall Festival weekends, but these farms have much more to offer! Choose from the Middlesex County South Brunswick location or the Warren County Washington location. They offer a full menu of Pick Your Own options all season long, starting with strawberry picking in May and ending in October with pumpkins.
Check out some of the more unique offerings, like corn and pumpkin blasters in Fall at both farms and horseback riding lessons at the Washington location.
Von Thun Farm Hours:
- Monday-Friday 10 am – 6:30 pm / Saturday and Sunday 9 am – 6 pm
- Picking ends 30 minutes earlier than closing times. (6/5:30)
The farm is open from May 1 – October 31.
Need to know before visiting Von Thun Farm
- Choose your shoes wisely! The majority of the walkable area is dirt and/or gravel. Skip open toes shoes and opt for boots or shoes you can get dirty just in case.
- There are 2 locations, so check their website before heading to one The offerings do change a bit location to location.
- Credit is accepted. Cash is preferred, but they do accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. There is not an ATM on the premises. Outside vendors (food, face painting, pony rides, etc) do not accept cards.
- You can use your own containers for picking. They will be weighed when you buy your picking pass, so you’re not paying for the weight of those.
- No pets are allowed on the farm.

Pricing for pick your own is priced per pound and varied per variety. There is a $5/person picking pass fee before entering the fields, $2 of each will be credited to your purchase upon checkout.

Von Thun Farm CSA Program
The Von Thun Farm CSA program lasts from 14-20 weeks, depending on the location. Get weekly boxes of farm-fresh produce each week based on what’s growing. Pricing depends on what size box you choose, and you can also choose to add on farm staples like eggs, milk or fresh Angus beef.
