Bonacorsi Family Farm – Flemington, Hunterdon County
- Details: This farm is strictly pick your own fruits. No fancy hayrides, etc, not a “tourist” farm as listed on their site.
Cash only.
Hours: 9-7
Demarast Farms – Hillsdale, Bergen County
- Details: Season begins September 5, 2020. General Admission includes free parking, entrance to apple orchard, hay wagon ride, two petting zoos, adventure playground, corn box, and more. Add $10 for a bag to hold the apples that you pick! (Apple Bag holds approximately 10 lbs.)
$7 per person (Age 2 and over)
Hours: 9-4:30
Donaldson Farms – Hackettstown, Warren County
- Details: Season begins early September. Hayrides, Indian corn picking, corn mazes, duck races, farm animals, pony rides, and pumpkin picking beginning late September.
Hours: Monday thru Thursday 9am – 6pm, Friday and Saturday 8am-6pm, and Sundays 9am – 4pm
Giamarese Farm – East Brunswick, Middlesex County
- Details: Season begins late August. Giamarese grows over 20 different apple varieties, giving you some of the best apple picking in NJ. Arrive at least one hour before closing.
Hours: 10-6 Wednesday-Saturday, 10-3 Sunday
Admission to the Fall Festival Weekends is free, but there is an additional fee for hayride tours, corn maze, and pony rides.
Longmeadow Farm – Hope, Sussex County
- Details: You Pick season begins Labor Day Weekend. They offer 15 different varieties of apple, so there’s always something for everyone.
Hours: Open 9-5 on weekends from September-October
Mackey’s Orchards – Belvidere, Warren County
- Details: Picking weekends in September and October, offering over 100 varieties of apples. Charged by the bag – a half-peck bag (approx. 5 lbs.) is $7.50. A peck bag (approx. 10 lbs.) is $14.50 and a half-bushel bag (approx. 20 lbs.) is $25. Must take hayride to orchards, $2/person, 3 and under free.
Hours: 9-5, arrive for picking by 4.
Melick’s Town Farm – Califon, Hunterdon County
- Details: More than 20,000 trees, offering pick your own from mid-July clear through December. You Pick Apples are available through the 2nd week of November. Most weekends in September and October, free hayrides are available.
Hours: Weekends, 10-6
Phillips Farm – Milford, Hunterdon County
- Details: Season begins September and ends October. Be sure to check out their market stand for fresh produce and local products.
Hours: Open Wednesday-Monday, from 10-5pm
Pochuck Valley Farms – Glenwood, Sussex County
- Details: Season runs August 15, 2020 – November 1, 2020. Picking is closed by 3:30. Their Country store is fully stocked with baked goods, a deli counter, and tons of farm and locally made goods.
Hours: 9-4
Race Farm Fresh – Blairstown, Warren County
- Details: Pick your own season begins in July and goes through October 31.
Hours: 9-5 through October 31.
Stony Hill Farms – Chester, Morris County
- Details: Season begins early September and runs through mid October. Hay rides, maze fun park featuring giant and mini corn mazes, tile maze, rope maze, trike racing, and more can be found at the farm. Half peck $10, full pick $18
Hours: daily from 10-5pm
Sun High Orchard – Randolph, Morris County
- Details: Season begins September. Apple bags are available free of charge. All apples are sold by the pound.
Hours: 7 days a week, 9-6
Cost: $2/person with bags provided for free.
Terhune Orchards – Princeton, Mercer County
- Details: Season begins September and October. Enjoy pony rides, wagon rides, visit the Corn Stalk Maze, Hay Bale Maze and our barnyard of farm animals. Children can enjoy face painting and pumpkin painting. Head to the Van Kirk Road Orchard for apple picking.
Hours: 10 – 5
Wightman’s Farm – Morristown, Morris County
- Details: Every person over the age of 3 years old needs a membership card to enter the fields and orchard. A membership card is $7 and is good from strawberry picking season through the last weekend of apple picking.
Hours: Saturday 9-5, Sunday 9-4:30
Cost: $7 per person for the season.
Riamede Farm – Chester, Morris County
- Details: Season begins late August. Featuring 34 varieties of apples ranging from traditional classics to heirloom specialties to modern favorites. There is a small fee to access the orchard and bags are sold on-premises, though you can bring your own.
Hours: 9 – 4:30
Alstede Farms – Chester, Morris County
- Details: Apple picking season August – October. Featuring hayrides, corn maze, corn kingdom, animal feeding, moon bounce, wagon rides, train rides and pumpkin picking.
Hours: 9-8
Battleview Orchards – Freehold, Monmouth County
- Details: Season opens Early September through October with 14 different varieties. Enjoy a country store packed with fresh produce, cider, and local goods.
Hours: 9-6
Eastmont Orchards – Colts Neck, Monmouth County
- Details: Season opens early September with Honeycrisp and McIntosh and going through October with over 20 varieties. Cash only.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9-5 Saturday & Sunday, 9-6
Von Thun Farms – South Brunswick and Washington
- Details: Apple season begins mid-September. You must purchase a picking pass before entering the fields at $5/person. At checkout, you’ll receive a $2 credit on your purchase,
Hours: Monday-Friday 10 am – 6:30 pm / Saturday and Sunday 9 am – 6 pm
Johnson’s Corner Farm – Medford, Burlington County
- Details: Apple picking and hayrides begin September 8 and run through October. Their 10 varieties are priced per pound, $1.89 with over 10 varieties of apples.
Hours: Farm market – 8-7, Hayrides 10-5.
Tree-Licious Orchards – Port Murray, Warren County
- Details: Season runs from September – October, only on weekends. Also visit their bakery for freshly baked goods.
Hours: 9-6
Ripple Hill Farm – Basking Ridge, Somerset County
- Details: In early September you can pick Macintosh and Gala, while Granny Smith and Stayman Winesaps are available later in the season. The farm is cash only.
Hours: Sundays from 10-4pm, September-October.
Mood’s Farm Market – Mullica Hill, Gloucester County
- Details: Apple picking and hayrides start in September and are kicked off with the apple festival. Be sure to grab some fresh-pressed cider and cider donuts!
